Interview with GameWorks CEO and GM

An interview with Steve Ely, General Manager, GameWorks Las Vegas, and Greg Stevens, CEO, GameWorks, about the new signature Las Vegas GameWorks.

How will this differ from other Gameworks locations?
Answer from Steve Ely – GameWorks Las Vegas will differ from other GameWorks in a few ways:
The Social Gaming Arena will be the first offering of its kind within a GameWorks restaurant and feature 80 top-of-the-line personal computers. GameWorks Las Vegas will host competitive eSports league play on a weekly basis.
GameWorks Las Vegas’ top-of-the-line bowling space will be available for everyday play and private events. The eight-lane alley will also feature a dedicated bar area.
GameWorks Las Vegas will have a dedicated local favorites menu [see below].
What will the menu be like?Answer from Steve Ely – We are offering a local’s favorite menu with items unique to GameWorks’ Las Vegas location, including:
Short Ribs, beer-braised in stout and served over wasabi mashed potatoes.
Tequila Shrimp and Seafood Ceviche, made with tequila, fresh lemon and lime, onion and jalapeño, served with house made toast points.
Chicken Fricassee, cast-iron fried chicken with coleslaw, a buttermilk biscuit and lavender honey.
Triple Decker B.L.A.T., triple-smoked bacon, fresh bibb lettuce, avocado and oven dried tomato with house-made mayo
What will the experience feel like?
Answer from Steve Ely – GameWorks visitors can really customize their experience and enjoy everything from a fully-immersive and high-energy entertainment experience to delicious food or craft cocktails. The entire space will be alive with fun and excitement whether guests are enjoying our huge, interactive video wall, the giant horseshoe bar or the brightly-colored 7,000 square foot arcade floor.

Why is Town Square the right location?
Answer from Greg Stevens – Town Square is a natural and perfect fit for GameWorks, and I think it really echoes everything that GameWorks is about. We are family-friendly and entertainment-focused with great dining and drink options and plenty of fun. We look forward to offering something new to the community and to visitors of Las Vegas, as well.
